Spanish police arrest nine al-Qaeda suspects

Spanish police have arrested nine Islamic militants reportedly linked to the terrorist al-Qaeda network of Osama bin Laden.

Interior Minister Mr Mariano Rajoy said today the suspects were of Tunisian, Algerian and Syrian origin.
