South Korea dented England's World Cup preparations by holding them to a 1-1 draw in a friendly today.
Michael Owen, captaining England for the second time in the absence of injured David Beckham, gave his side the lead from close range in the 25th minute of the first senior international between the two teams.
England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson made seven changes at half-time and the World Cup co-hosts took advantage of sloppy marking to equalise after 52 minutes through Park Ji-sung's header.
The South Koreans' encouraging performance followed their 4-1 thrashing of Scotland last week.
Eriksson's side lost their way after an assured first half display in their first game since arriving at their South Korean training base before the World Cup, which starts on May 31st.
