A solicitor for Jackson Way Properties Ltd (JWP), which has been mentioned at the Flood tribunal, is to appeal to the Supreme Court against a High Court order to reveal the identities of those who instructed him for the company.
The High Court yesterday also ordered Mr Stephen Miley to pay the costs of his unsuccessful judicial review proceedings.
The Flood tribunal is investigating JWP about the rezoning of its lands at Carrickmines in south Dublin. It has been alleged that politicians were paid to secure it.
On January 24th, in a High Court decision of major significance for the work of tribunals, Mr Justice Kelly ruled that Mr Miley was not entitled to claim legal professional privilege over the identity of those who instructed him for JWP.
