Two English police officers who served on the Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman murder inquiry have been charged with a further 15 child pornography offences.
West Midlands Police said Det Constable Brian Stevens, who serves with the Cambridgeshire force, was yesterday charged with three counts of making indecent images of children as well as two counts of indecent assault on a 13-year-old girl.
A colleague, Constable Antony Goodridge, was charged with 12 counts of making indecent images of children following forensic examinations of both men's computers.
The fresh charges will be put to the officers at their next appearance before magistrates in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on November 11th.
Mr Stevens (41) was last month charged with three counts of making indecent images of children; Mr Goodridge (34) was charged with four similar offences.
