Global software services company Software Spectrum is cutting 90 jobs at its Dublin-based service centre.

Global software services company Software Spectrum is cutting 90 jobs at its Dublin-based service centre.

The staff at the centre office in Ballsbridge, Dublin, were told of the job cutbacks earlier today. The jobs, mainly in sales and customer services, will be transferred to Munich in Germany.

The company which is a subsidiary of Nasdaq-quoted Level 3 Communications, specialises in helping organisations increase business value from information technology.

The Dublin office which employs over 100 people is the regional service centre for northern Europe and houses a large phone based sales and customer support team .
