Six men who were arrested in Co Louth on Saturday night by gardaí investigating the activities of dissident republicans are scheduled to appear in the Special Criminal Court tomorrow morning.
A seventh man arrested during the operation has been released without charge. A file is being prepared for the DPP and charges may follow, a garda spokeswoman said.
The seven men, aged between 20 and 50, were arrested after a search of a house in Dundalk. Guns and other weapons were also recovered.
The operation was headed by Dundalk-based gardaí with armed support from the Emergency Response Unit.
