Six people have been arrested following the seizure of cannabis plants worth up to €750,000 in Co Galway.
The haul was found during an operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the west of the country.
A house in the Tuam area and another in Oughterard were searched by gardaí.
Five men and a woman, ranging in age from their 20s to 50s, were arrested at the two properties.

Four of the men are being detained at Galway Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. The fifth man and a woman are being held at Loughrea Garda station under the same provisions.
