Six men are still being held in custody following two separate drugs raids by gardaí last night.
Four men were arrested when detectives from the Garda National Drug Unit, assisted by members of the Balbriggan and Coolock drugs units, carried out a search at an industrial unit near Ballyboughal at about 7.30pm.
Gardaí said a cannabis cultivation facility was discovered during the search.
About 1,500 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €600,000, and freshly harvested herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €240,000 were seized.
They four men are currently being detained at Raheny and Santry Garda stations.
They are being held under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 and may be detained for up to 24 hours.
One of the men is in his 20s, two are in their 30s and one is in his 40s.
Separately, drugs worth some €800,000 were seized by gardaí in two separate but linked investigations into a west Dublin criminal gang.
Two men aged in their 50s and 30s were arrested yesterday following the search of an apartment at Inchicore, Dublin.
They are being held at Kevin Street and Kilmainham garda stations.
Gardaí seized some 60,000 ecstasy tablets, herbal cannabis and cocaine valued at some €650,000 in this raid.
On Monday gardaí seized heroin with a value of €150,000 during a search at an apartment complex in Chapelizod. A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene but has since been released and a file will be prepared for the DPP.
