The leaders of Sinn Féin are to meet Taoiseach Bertie Ahern today.
Party president Gerry Adams and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness will hold talks with Mr Ahern at Government Buildings in Dublin.
A spokesman said the main item for discussion was the transfer of powers on policing and justice away from Whitehall to the political institutions in the north.
The Sinn Féin leaders will also update the Taoiseach on developments in the power-sharing government and an investment conference in Belfast in May.
