Manager Pat Fenlon has a selection choice to make ahead of tomorrow night's Dublin derby with Shamrock Rovers at Tolka Park.

Defender Kevin Doherty and wingers Wes Hoolahan and Richie Baker all picked up knocks in last weekend's scoreless draw away to Cork and are rated doubtful.

James Gannon and Jim Crawford were both red carded in that game and are therefore ruled out.

"We'll be giving the three lads late fitness tests before I can pick my side on Friday", said Fenlon, "but with suspensions our options have narrowed considerably".

Striker Dessie Baker has completed his loan spell with UCD and returns to the club. He will not, however, be eligible for the Rovers game.

Stuart Byrne could be in line for a spot on the bench as he continues his recovery from a foot injury.

Rovers, meanwhile, have midfielder Jason Colwell back from suspension.

Striker Liam Kelly is fit again after a thigh strain, but it remains to be scene whether manager Liam Buckley will oust either Tony Grant or Glen Fitzpatrick from the starting line-up following their impressive displays up front against Derry last week.

Trevor Molloy (ankle) is making steady progress in his return to fitness and Buckley suggested the striker could return as early as next week.

Buckley will soon be turning his attention to Rovers' Intertoto Cup tie away to Polish outfit Odra Wodzislaw on June 21st and told ireland.comtoday that he will review video footage of his opponents next week.
