LONDON - European shares slid in morning business yesterday, jolted by a near 100 point drop on Wall Sheet overnight.
On a nervous currency market, the dollar traded in narrow ranges as traders focused on the European Union summit in Dublin, awaiting details of the budgetary stability pact to underpin plans for a single euro currency.
Key European bourses lost more than 1 per cent during the morning, while Asian markets also weakened but ended above their lows.
