The RTÉ reality television programme, Cabin Fever, has run into trouble again. One of the contestants has left the show and the ship has developed gearbox problems.

Noel Hogan decided to leave the show due to seasickness, according to the show's website. Hogan is one of the show's new contestants, having only joined the crew on Monday.

Cabin Fever was relaunched on Tuesday with a new ship, crew and two new contestants to join the six members of the original team. The series was suspended after the original ship hit rocks and sank off Tory Island on Friday, June 13th, after only three episodes.

"Noel Hogan from Ennis in county Clare had been extremely unwell and suffering from sea sickness, whilst out to sea, since the boat left Sligo on Tuesday evening," the website today today.

Meanwhile, last night the new ship, Johanna Lucretiadeveloped a problem with the gearbox off the North Mayo coast. Earlier today it was backtracked, using sail power, to Killybegs, Co Donegal where it was receiving immediate attention.
