TODAY: Astrobiology – The Search for Alien Life, free talk by Dr Lewis Dartnell, 8pm, at Institute of Technology Sligo, Ash Lane, Sligo.

A few places are still available for the regional finals of the 20th annual Irish Science Teachers’ Association Senior Science Quiz, taking place this evening at 7.30pm in 12 venues across the country. Regional finalists will attend a grand final in Trinity College Dublin on Saturday, November 26th.
