Kuwait - The Saudi interior minister said in remarks published yesterday that Saudi Arabians were behind a 1996 bombing that killed 19 US servicemen.
"The bombing took place at Saudi hands," Prince Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz was quoted as telling Kuwaiti newspaper editors while they visited the kingdom.
US officials had previously said they had not determined if the blast at the US military housing complex in the eastern town of Khobar was the work of Saudi dissidents or whether there was an international link.
