The International Rules series is to be extended by a further four years after members of the GAA and AFL signed a new agreement at Football Park, Adelaide today.
GAA President Sean McCague and AFL chief executive Wayne Jackson signed the deal which sees the series extended to 2005.
Ireland manager Brian McEniff expressed his full support for the deal.
Ireland play Australia at Football Park tomorrow in the deciding test of the International Rules series.
