Johannesburg - The roof of a busy South African shopping centre partially collapsed yesterday and local radio reported at least 50 people had been injured.
A police spokeswoman confirmed the accident at the Kolonnade Shopping Centre in Pretoria, but gave no further details.
Private Radio 702 reported from the scene that at least 50 people had been injured and that scores more were trapped inside the shopping complex after the roof on top of an ice-rink in the building collapsed.
