A long-running dispute over an £80 million retail and leisure park on the Belfast Bangor road reached the Belfast Court of Appeal yesterday.
The developers behind the Harbour Exchange scheme - known as D5 - began an appeal against a decision last September overturning planning permission. Belfast Chamber of Commerce, which was backed by the city council, feared the massive development on a 54acre site at Knocknagoney would have a detrimental effect on the retail sector in Belfast, Holywood and Dundonald.
A week has been set aside for the hearing.
