Washington - Heart attack patients and people who suffer chest pains may soon be able to dose themselves with enoxaparin to prevent other attacks, French researchers said.

In a study published in Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association yesterday, the authors reported that 64 patients given enoxaparin had fewer than twice the number of recurrent attacks in the month following a heart attack than patients given heparin.
