The case of the former assistant Dublin city and county manager, Mr George Redmond, on corruption charges will be mentioned in the Dublin District Court today.
It is expected the case will be adjourned. The question of whether it will be transferred to the Circuit Criminal Court has also to be decided.
Mr Redmond (76) is facing four charges under the corruption laws.
He first appeared in the Dublin District Court on April 3rd last after being arrested the previous day by detectives from the Criminal Assets Bureau.

The first charge relates to corruptly receiving a gift of money from Mr Brendan Fassnidge as an inducement or reward in relation to the sale of a strip of land in Palmerstown by Dublin County Council to Mr Fassnidge.
