Argentine striker Claudio Caniggia has been released by Scottish champions Rangers.
The 36-year-old, who joined Rangers from Dundee in 2001, scored in the League Cup final and in the title decider against Dunfermline as the Glasgow club won the domestic treble this year for the seventh time.
He missed last Saturday's Scottish Cup final win over Dundee with a back injury.
Caniggia played 78 times for Rangers and scored 21 goals. His form earned him a place in Argentina's World Cup squad lastyear.
He has an offer from a club in Qatar but could return to his homeland where he commands considerable respect after playing alongside Diego Maradona at the 1990 and 1994 World Cup finals.
Dutch defender Arthur Numan has already left Ibrox, and English premier league side Blackburn Rovers have made an official bid for Italian defender Lorenzo Amoruso.
More high earners are expected to depart as Rangers try to slash debts of £62.2 million sterling.
