Former world number one and two-time US Open champion Pat Rafter has all but ruled out a return to tennis.
Rafter's former Davis Cup captain John Newcombe said last month he believed the two-time Wimbledon finalist would be back in action in November.
But Rafter insisted there was no pressure to return to tennis and he said Newcombe's comments were taken out of context.
Rafter has been out of tennis since last December's losing Davis Cup final against France in Sydney.
The dual US Open champion said watching Wimbledon next week, which he is missing for the first time since 1992, and Australia's Davis Cup qualifying tie against India in Adelaide in September, might possibly influence a possible comeback.
"When those two events come around it could be tough and then again it might not be," he said.
Rafter becomes a father next month when his girlfriend Lara Feltham gives birth.
