El Salvador - The last man rescued from under a mudslide after El Salvador's earthquake has died in hospital, deepening the sense of loss among Salvadorans. Saturday's 7.6-magnitude quake killed 675 Salvadorans and six people in neighbouring Guatemala. Sergio Moreno was buried under rubble for more than 30 hours until his rescue on Sunday.
After doctors amputated his legs, the 22-year-old amateur rock musician died late on Tuesday from heart and kidney failure.
