Staff at Johnnie Fox's pub in Glencullen, Co Dublin, have voted in favour of proposals put forward by the Labour Relations Commission to end an industrial dispute at the pub. Forty members of MANDATE have been on strike at the pub since June 17th over a wide range of issues, including union recognition, pay and the treatment of young workers.
The parties will meet again in four weeks to review progress on industrial relations with a view toward granting workers ex-gratia payments.
