The PSNI is today investigating an arson attack on a car belonging to the daughter of an SDLP councillor in County Tyrone.
The car, which was owned by the daughter of Ms Ann Bell, was set alight last night outside the family home at Knockavoe Crescent in Strabane.
The councillor said she did not believe she had been targeted because of her membership of the District Policing Partnership, but could not be sure.
Ms Bell said she had no idea why the attack had taken place. "I was out and when I came back the Fire Brigade was here," she said.

Ms Bell said the car was completely destroyed and her daughter was deeply distressed.
The scene has been preserved for a more detailed examination later today.
