Three men were being treated in hospital in Northern Ireland last night after being beaten by a gang wielding iron bars, police said tonight.
The men were in a flat in Bangor along with a woman when the three men forced their way in and attacked them at around 6.30pm yesterday
Detectives said they have not yet established a motive for the assault at the Crochan Court property.
The men's injuries are not thought to be life threatening at this stage.
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man being is being treated in hospital after being assaulted in the Poleglass area of west Belfast early yesterday morning.
Two men aged 20 have been arrested following the incident in Ardcaoin Drive at 6.25am.
The man sustained numerous blows to the head during the assault. A number of windows at the property were also smashed.
