Police in the North are investigating what they describe as a paramilitary-style shooting in which shots were fired at a house in Dunmurry, Belfast, last night.

Shortly after 10.30pm, shots were fired through the window of a house at Lagmore Avenue, breaking the front window and showering the occupants with pellets, a PSNI spokeswoman said.

Three men, aged 20, 25 and 32 received pellet injuries.  Two women, aged 23 and 31 were taken to Lagan Valley hospital to be treated for shock.  A two-year-old baby girl, who was also in the house, was uninjured.

Police are appealing for information, particularly on a dark-coloured car seen in the area at the time.
