Armed raiders tied up staff at a warehouse in north Belfast before stealing a substantial quantity of cigarettes.
A PSNI spokesman said four masked men carrying a handgun and baseball bat entered the Harbour Estate around midnight and forced their way onto the premises.
The robbers handcuffed two security guards to a radiator and then forced ten other workers to help them load their stolen lorry with 'a substantial quantity' of cigarettes.
The staff were then tied up before the raiders made their getaway in a stolen Scania P94 Unit lorry.
