Denver - In their closing arguments prosecutors implored the jury in the Oklahoma City bombing trial yesterday to sentence a convicted conspirator, Terry Nichols, to death, arguing his decision to help Timothy McVeigh plot the deadly bombing "was felt in every corner of this country".
Nichols was convicted last month of conspiracy and manslaughter for the April 19th, 1995, bombing, and the same jury now must decide his fate. The jurors could sentence him to die or spend life in prison, or they could ask the judge to impose a lesser punishment on the 42-year-old former farm hand.
