THE Princess of Wales arrived back in Britain yesterday after a week's holiday on a Caribbean island where she is reported to have decided to agree to a divorce.
Princess Diana has finally agreed to Queen Elizabeth's demand to divorce Prince Charles, according to the Daily Express.
The princess arrived at Heathrow airport yesterday morning after a holiday at an exclusive resort on the West Indian island of Barbuda.
The Daily Express claims she now reluctantly accepts that her 14 year old marriage is over and will hold talks with her legal advisers early next week. She has already spoken to her personal advisers.
Her decision follows the queen's letter to the couple demanding a speedy final split.
A source, quoted by the Express, said: "You can expect moves towards a divorce to begin in earnest after Diana's meeting (with her legal advisers)."
However, her personal solicitor, Mr Anthony Julius, last night signalled that the princess was not yet ready to agree in principle to end her marriage.
Mr Julius said he was intervening to quash reports that she had decided to agree to an early divorce.
