Dubai -The Saudi Interior Minister, Prince Nayef, has said that seven Saudis named by the FBI as suspects in the attacks on the US were innocent.
The official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted Prince Nayef as saying he had not given any confirmation to the kingdom that Saudis were involved in the terrorist attacks.
"As for the names that have been published or provided to us by the FBI, there are seven names of people who did not participate and are present in the kingdom and who are known (to us)," he said.
"There are more than 10 other names, possibly 15, whom we still have no detailed information on, either their four (full) names, pictures, passports or personal identity cards, to be able to verify if they are Saudis or not."
