London - British Deputy Prime Minister Mr John Prescott's father last night predicted that the pair would never speak to one another again after Mr Prescott spoke of his sadness at their public rift.
He also dismissed talk of a three-year dispute between himself and his father as being "not true", adding: "It's sad, and it's personal and it's private." He told Sir David Frost on BBC1: "I think most people tend to feel that these matters should be left internal to the family.
