A young man was seriously hurt and his pregnant girlfriend slightly injured in a gun attack at their home in Belfast last night.
The 19-year-old was shot twice in the legs after a gang of men burst into the ground floor flat at Thornhill Crescent, Twinbrook.
The man struggled to keep them out by holding the living room door closed, but the gunmen kicked a hole in the door and fired three shots through it.
He was hit in both thighs and his girlfriend was hit in the foot.
