The bodies of a couple who were found dead in a house in Navan, County Meath, have been taken to Our Lady's Hospital in Navan for post mortem examination.
The couple, in their 50s, were discovered in an upstairs bedroom yesterday by a neighbour who was concerned at the lack of activity at the house, on Boyne Road.
Dr Harbison made a preliminary examination of the bodies at the scene and was due to begin a post mortem examination later today.
