A postmortem is due to be carried out on the body of a man
stabbed to death last night in Limerick.
A Garda spokesman said the 18-year-old was stabbed at about 12.30 a.m. in the Lee estate area of the city. He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
The scene has been sealed off for forensic investigation and Gardaí have begun a murder investigation.
