An opinion poll in this morning's Sunday Business Post has indicated that nearly two thirds of voters would support the two Government parties in an election.
The Red C poll puts Fine Gael on 41 per cent, up two points since last month . Labour is up one point on 19 per cent.
Fianna Fáil support is unchanged on at 16 per cent while support for Sinn Féin is also static at 11 per cent.
Independents and others have seen their support fall three points to 13 according to the poll which was conducted among 1,000 voters in the early part of this week.
