THE Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications is to make a statement to the House next Tuesday on the issuing of a second mobile phone licence.

The Taoiseach said Mr Lowry had already reported extensively and repeatedly to the Dail on the matter. "He is, however, happy to come before the Dail again and give this information."

He was replying to the Fianna Fail leader on the order of Business. Mr Bertie Ahern said the allegations and innuendo surrounding the issue related more to what happened within the EU.
