Two fires which caused minor damage to homes in Co Derry early today are being treated as arson, the Police Service of Northern Ireland said today.
A blaze at a shed next to a house at Thiepval Court, Limavady was reported shortly before 2am.
It caused some scorched damage to a window of the home.
Shortly afterwards, at around 2.30am another fire was discovered in a wheely bin at the back of a house in Josephine Avenue in the town, which damaged the bin and a kitchen window.
Police are treating both as arson and believe they are linked. They have appealed for witnesses.
