Fifteen people were arrested this morning in an arrest operation in the greater Belfast area.
The operation is part of an ongoing crackdown on criminal activity in the south of the city. Recently the area has suffered a series of robberies and muggings.
A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesman said the arrests were the second phase in the operation mounted last week during which 12 people were detained.
Several of those held last week have been charged with a variety of offences including burglary, robbery and car theft.
