A Ryanair flight coming in to land at Dublin Airport was told to start climbing again during an "air miss" incident on Wednesday, the Irish Aviation Authority has confirmed.
The Ryanair 737, from Stansted, London, was coming in to land at the same time as a Cessna light aircraft was taking off at another runway.
When it was noticed that the two aircraft were within 800 feet of each other, the Ryanair flight was immediately told to climb. Aircraft must have a vertical distance of at least 1,000 feet between them.
