A family escaped when a petrol bomb hit their car as they drove down the Lower Shankill Road in Belfast last night.
The husband and wife, their four-year-old daughter and three-month-old baby son suffered shock when the petrol bomb smashed against the windscreen of their car and ignited.
Minor disturbances were reported in the area at the time last night.
Twenty petrol bombs were recovered by police from an alleyway in nearby Boundary Way shortly after the attack.
