TWO DOGS belonging to Hong Kong governor Chris Patten, Norfolk terriers called Whisk and Soda, are likely to serve their six months in quarantine when Patten returns to Britain.
The news will come as a blow to the governor who, in a mounting campaign against current anti rabies measures, has urged the British government to scrap the quarantine system.
The rock star lover of Paula Yates (36) was yesterday arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs. Michael Hutchence (36) was arrested at Chelsea police station, west London, and bailed to reappear there in December. Yates was arrested earlier this week and was also bailed to December.

Yesterday Gallo, a resident of the US state of Virginia, formerly married to John Wayne Bobbitt, had lunch with President Abdala Bucaram and met the congressional leader Fabian Alarcon.
Gallo told reporters here that her case "should serve as a point of reflection to narrow the gap between men and women."
