Keanu Reeves, star of Speed and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, was released from hospital yesterday after receiving treatment for injuries he received in a motorcycle accident. Reeves (31) was hurt when a motorist caused him to crash.

The funeral of Dr Who star, Jon Pertwee, took place yesterday at an undisclosed cemetery in London. Pertwee (76) died last Monday while on holiday in America. He was with his German born wife, Ingeborg.
