He made the comment in a recorded Talk Radio interview with Julie Goodyear, the former Coronation Street star, which will be broadcast in her first show tomorrow.

He also said stars should "stop whingeing and whining" about too much publicity.

Bill Cosby has accepted an invitation from Nelson Mandela to visit South Africa to help raise funds for the museum on Robben Island, where Mandela was a political prisoner for 18 years. Cosby recently lost his son in a Los Angeles shooting incident.

Czech President Vaclav Ravel left Prague for a one week honeymoon yesterday, his first trip outside Prague since surgery in December.

Ravel and his new wife, former actress Dagmar Veskrnova (43), will spend a week at a health resort in Spa, Belgium.

On their return, Ravel will return to normal duties at Prague Castle.

The Romanian government yesterday restored the citizenship of former king Michael and his family, saying it was acting to "make amends" to a decision taken by the former communist regime in 1948.

The government, however, added that its decision does not alter the country's constitution, meaning Michael would not be able to reclaim the throne.

Michael, who now lives in Switzerland, was sent into exile in 1947. In 1948, the government passed a decree taking away his Romanian citizenship.

Comedian Lenny Henry (38) is recovering from a mysterious illness after he collapsed, days after returning from a trip to the Amazon.

Henry, who is married to fellow comedian Dawn French, passed out at his mother in law's home, was given first aid, then spent a night in hospital.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife, Maria Shriver, are expecting their fourth child. They already have two daughters and a son.
