A MAN alleged to be stalking the British Princess Royal divorced his wife so he could be available for her, his son claimed yesterday.
Bernard Quinn (52) left his wife of 28 years after his longstanding respect for Princess Anne suddenly turned into his conviction that a relationship between them was possible, his son Philip said. He has urged his father to seek psychiatric help, but insisted he poses no danger to the princess. He spoke after his father's photograph was circulated by police concerned about Quinn's regular attendance at Anne's public engagements.
