PRINCE HARRY took a tumble skiing in the Swiss Alps with his father, the Prince of, Wales, yesterday and winded himself. The 11 year old prince was attempting a jump when he fell on the Pischa mountain at Davos, near Klosters.
He rested for a while, under his father's watchful eye, and then continued skiing.
But Harry's bad luck was not yet over. Later, driving back to their hotel, he was car sick.
After about only 200 yards, the royal party's car stopped, Harry jumped out and was comforted by his nanny, Tiggy Legge Bourke.
A spokesman said last night that Harry, who is prone to car sickness, was "in high spirits" and had not needed to see a doctor.
The Prince of Wales was said to be "not at all happy" over intrusion by photographers during his private skiing holiday.
"The royal party has a good day's skiing on the Pischa and it was only spoiled by an intolerable degree of intrusion by photographers," said the prince's spokesman.
"The Prince of Wales is not at all happy. He is particularly concerned about the effect on Prince Harry, who is not being allowed to have the sort of holiday a boy of his age should be allowed to have."
A judge yesterday postponed O.J. Simpson's deposition in the wrongful death lawsuit filed against him by the families of murder victims Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
Superior Court Judge Alan Haber said he needed time to decide whether the Goldmans' attorneys have a conflict of interest in the case.
The suits, which have been combined into a single civil case, carry no threat of a prison sentence, but Simpson could end up paying millions' of dollars in damages. Simpson did not take the witness stand during his criminal trial, but he could be forced to testify in the civil case, which is set for April 2nd.
Outside the court, Goldman's father, Fred Goldman, called Simpson a "coward" and angrily accused him of "a frivolous effort to delay the trial".
Lottery queen Anthea Turner has lost the shirt off her back. She appears topless in next month's Tatler magazine but fans should not get too excited because her back is to the camera.
The picture is part of a feature length interview with the GMTV presenter who is reputed to earn about £1 million a year. Turner (35) also appears on the cover of the magazine.
A spokesman for the upmarket magazine said: "It is a very tastefully done picture in Tatler style."
Controversial film director Paul Verhoeven has criticised British censors who have cut his erotic new film Showgirls.
The film has been banned in Ireland and the British Board of Film Classification has insisted on a major cut before it gets an 18 certificate.
Showgirls opens in the UK next Friday but it will not contain a 12 second rape scene. The board insisted it be cut to four seconds.
In an interview with Radio One's The Net programme, Verhoeven (58) said he did not understand the British censors' decision.
The film tells the story of Naomi Malone (Elizabeth Berkeley) as she arrives in Las Vegas and becomes a dancer in a seedy strip club.
