Terry Wogan (60) has aired doubts about whether he should ever present the Eurovision Song Contest again.
The broadcaster, who has hosted the British broadcast of Eurovision for more than two decades, said he would find it hard to top this year's spectacular show in Birmingham where he was joined by Ulrika Jonsson.
Prince William and Prince Harry will not become involved in running a charity set up by their mother, Princess Diana, according to Buckingham Palace. The Princess of Wales' Charities Trust, set up in 1981, made donations totalling hundreds of thousands of pounds to her favourite causes.
A spokeswoman for Buckingham Palace said: "They are not going to be running the Princess of Wales Charities' Trust."
Capt Mark Phillips has spoken for the first time about his daughter Zara's new metal tongue stud, saying she is "a great character who had her feet on the ground".
Zara (17) is said to have unveiled the trendy body art to her parents, Princess Anne and Capt Phillips, when she returned home from school for the summer holidays.
About 160 rock fans from Siberia flew to Moscow yesterday to see the Rolling Stones' first, and only, concert in Russia. The concert was part of the band's current "Bridges to Babylon" tour of Europe. The fans took a four-hour flight from Novosibirsk to see the rock legends at the 83,000-seat Olympic stadium in Moscow.
