A British woman who spent 11 years setting a record as the first woman to walk around the world has admitted she cheated.
Ffyona Campbell, who left home at the age of 16 on her global trek, said she skipped 1,600 km of her walk across the US. Ms Campbell (29) told British newspapers and television her punishing regime of 40 km a day was too much.
She said that she rode in her support truck for the leg between Indianapolis and Fort Summer, New Mexico.

Debbie Rowe (37) says the child was successfully conceived using artificial insemination. She is alleged to have agreed to a £330,000 payment to hand the baby over after birth in February and as yet there are no marriage plans.
