Payment services provider Chase Paymentech is to create up to 100 jobs over the next three years at its European headquarters in Dublin.
The new offices at East Point Business Park were opened by Taoiseach Bertie Ahern today.
Chase Paymentech claims 600,000 merchant customers in over one million locations worldwide. Last year it processed 19.7 billion payment transactions, with more than $719 billion in annual bankcard and debit transactions.
The company is a joint venture between JP Morgan Chase & Co. and First Data Corp.
President and CEO Michael Duffy said: "Within three years, the new office will support a 100-person team across Europe which will be responsible for expanding our operations, marketing initiatives and customer support activities outside the United States."
The company will initially target the Irish, British, German, French, Italian and Spanish markets and will focus on other European countries in 2009.
