Irish computer chip maker Parthus reported a 9 per cent fall in third quarter revenue. The company said the shortfall was due to the "streamlining" of some of its business and the continuing downturn in the IT sector.
Total revenue for the third quarter 2002 amounted to $9.5 million compared with $10.4 million in the third quarter 2001.
Commenting on the company's proposed merger with US software company Ceva which won High Court approval this week Parthus said it expects the deal to be approved within a week.
