French airport police have arrested 27 baggage handlers working at Paris's Charles de Gaulle on suspicion of stealing goods from passengers' luggage.
The suspects were arrested at the airport or in their homes, where investigations turned up large quantities of goods presumed to have been stolen, including perfume, camcorders, cameras, watches, laptop computers and foreign currency.
The arrests followed a long-term police investigation of organised theft at Charles de Gaulle.
